THREE TENTHS OF A SECOND
Nathalie Neeser | Switzerland 2017 | 4 min
What if doubts about your very own body became your daily companions? What if other bodies started to seem worthier than your very own? What if your body suddenly became female? This short film tells the story of a young woman who learns, in the context of competitive sports, that there exist two types of bodies: the useful one and your very own. Even though she was confronted with strong images that told her the opposite, she finds a way to question those views and with time, learns to love her body.

Anna Fersztand | Schweiz 2020 | 11 min
A man of Jewish origin, who survived the concentration camps, begins to tell his granddaughter the story of his youth. They put themselves together in quarantine following the corona pandemic.
With the different possibilities of film, the author tries to reflect the complexity of the human being and thus also of language. The focus is on trauma and the non-sayable (das Nicht-Sagbare), which is invisible and silently present.

Nimal Bourlod, Paloma Gude, Filippo Bozzini
Switzerland 2022 | 9 min
Collected, catalogued, and categorized. Sorted and stored. To be displayed in a wooden cabinet or left in the dark to slumber. But can you really contain a spirit or ghost? The present will always be haunted. Ghosted explores the imaginaries around objects in the ethnographic museum of Neuchâtel, as well as the haunting colonial past of the city in general.
THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERE - A CHRISTMAS FILM
Melinda Rieder | Switzerland 2020 | 10 min
This is a plastic based essay film. With the help of a green pair of eyes the film deals with our future, influenced by artificial intelligence and other constantly developing technologies. How will this future be impacted by the fact that the mundane life of many people is shaped by more and more “smart” objects, which influence our decisions and at the same time collect data? What happens with human relationships and gender stereotypes when we can freely form bodies and order them to our homes? And what if we fall in love with them?
